Pics ‘From the Listening Position’

Socks optional

A few asking here and elsewhere about the T505 positioning, so…

Exactly as recommended by Kudos: 20cm from solid back wall, 200cm between the inner face of each speaker, 2500 to my head! No toe-in.

you look like you’ve settled in with those new 505s.

Does that mean they are keepers. Are they ‘happy’ to be close to the wall like that

Relaxing on Saturday
The chair is better for “serious” listening but the couch more comfortable

Thanks Dave! I saw in your profile that you use Gaias on your MF9s. Were they a big improvement? Right now my XL10s are spiked through the rug.

Or various slightly different angles depending on where the cushions are and whether I can be bothered to move them.

Footstool is usually pulled out. But at the moment I’ve three frenchies sprawled asleep around me.

I don’t know how they work, but work they certainly do.

If you do decide to try them, you’ll need to ask AudioT for studs with thread size / pitch 12 X 1.75, since the calculator on IsoAcoustics website is incorrect, assuming the threads on your XL10s are the same as on my MF9s.

Give the ever helpful Bob Surgeoner at Neat a bell, maybe?
