Are they the 7 ?
I have a pair of prophecy 7 and hopefully I have a bluesound node icon with Dirac which help me moderate the bass (90-100Hz pic and voices 2-3Khz).
how is it yours ?
They are the PMC Twenty5 26i.
Mr Wilson has done quite a few remixes of the Yes back catalogue. Some are brilliant, like this one, others I’m less sold on. The Relayer one leaves me less than thrilled. I really can’t tell you why though. It’s technically superb I’m sure, but it seems to have lost its soul for me 
A bit like Terry Brown’s remix of RUSH’s Grace Under Pressure, not enjoyable for me or Mrs Q.

No nait 50 with scm7 anymore?
No, not in the bedroom. But I want to buy another Naim system for the living room, either the Supernait 3/NDX2 or the 222/250 New Classic. But currently all my finances are spent on an Audio Note setup.
That’s surprising. Were you no longer happy with the Nait50 ATC 7? I’d understood from your posts that it was a very good combination…
The nait50 + atc7 is a very good combination. However, I had been using an Audio Note setup for years before that and had to choose between the two.
But I want Naim Setup in the living room again.

I only have one AudioNote component in my system, but I love it.
Weren’t you tempted by the AN-Ks?
Yes, I had the AN-K/SPE, but they were too bright with the AN-Meishu, which I sold. And the AN-K had hardly any bass. My room is only 12 square meters – that’s why the AX One MkIIs fit in there very well.

They are great. I am coming from JMR EMP2+Accuphase E213, then KEF LS50W (first gen)+SVS SB1000, finally Atoll AM300EVO+Bluesound NodeIcon+PMC 7+SVS SB1000.
The medium and voice are really clear (good for movie dialogs). I think my room is not optimal (lot of reflexions and high cells - cathedral, big windows, …). I had to use Dirac (NodeIcon) to gently lower from 2Khz to 20Khz and remove a pic at 80-100Hz. Without Dirac, it was like heavy “loudness effect”, now it is good.
I think I manage to have a warm and tube-ish effect. With the precision of PMC and dynamic of Atoll AM300evo, it is a good balance.

Hey All,
Is there anybody out there?
Recently I have been thinking of getting more of a ‘NAIM sound’ in my system.
Took a photo two weeks ago which shows the first steps - switching out Tellurium Q Ultra Silver II to put in NAIM NAC A5. See picture from listening position.
I was also doing some other things as well (in case anyone is interested, here is the link to follow). The lengths of cable I am running with are slightly too short if one considers NAIM advice - but then I am not using NAIM amplifiers.
I was also exploring lots of music unfamiliar to me at quite high SPL. There was a lot to get through so I had to Run like Hell and also in some cases of Waiting for the Worms (of loudspeaker cable) to settle in when suddenly I had to Stop.
After three hours of blasting the system there was distortion coming from the left loudspeaker.
Following day, after letting everything cool down, all was normal.
Later, after maybe hour or two again of some difficult tracks - the distortion re appears.
Subsequent conversation with HiFi retailer (and follow up visit) has resulted in an opportunity which I would like to share with you over the next few posts as follows…
