Your PMC GBi’s are great speakers.
When my dealer heard them he described them as sweet sounding. I know what he means. If they had been able to produce more bass, I’d still have mine. Lovely little floor standers.

A bit of a tidy up required since installing the new gear…(straighten Fraim, do cabling, re position speakers)…on box 33 of 64 of ripping CDs !

Lol. I often lounge about on the sofa on the left while they pin me down. One reason for getting a streamer🤣
The Focals are finally settling in after 2 long years. Bought end 2019. Delivered end 2020. Break-in / heart break / toe-in / non toe-in time flies 2023.
Amps next room due to hum.

I flew to Singapore to audition twice & both times these speakers impessed me. The dealer had 500 series & the same digital front end. I was determined to make them sing despite the initial setback. Ear bleeding highs & Sibilance city. Turned out that the factory recommendation to toe in was a total misdirection that took many months to figure out. 
. Of course they are not ProAcs but they are pretty well behaved now. Well, most of the time anyway.

Sadly, yes. We lost Frisco last April. She was 11 and had multiple organ failure (liver, kidneys). We miss her a lot. She was quite the pistol, and always entertaining.

What have you tried so far and what do you like/dislike with them?
