Always a fight for the best position (I usually lose …)

How lovely to have fields directly outside.

Yes we are very fortunate where we are. It can be a pain at harvest time with the amount of “stoor” that ends up on the windows. The Farmer currently has sheep in the neighbouring field for the next year or two so that’s good !

That is really nice - especially in the warm light

But where do you sit while listening - on the fireplace?

Back tapping is necessary then. No foot tapping.

Proper home when the dogs and dog blankets occupy the listening space.

As Christmas approaches it is increasingly dark around these parts. This was taken at 8:15am this morning! Not the ideal listening room but quite conveniently out of the way. So out of the way in fact that Crippers decs have not yet made it this far into the house!

A bit of a cheat as the system is still boxed up whilst the renovations are completed, but this is where Mrs Homeworks and I sit when it’s up and running..

Hi All,

This photo shows other half of the Christmas present I received from ‘The Other Half’ aka Mrs E of E.

Original Image: Author provided, no reuse.

To avoid any confusion (or potential irony), the items are the two GIK Acoustic Sound Blocks ™ now just fitted on the back wall immediately below the GIK Acoustics Impressions series panels, behind the listening position(s).

Hi Martin,

The idea is to state the ‘claim’ to prevent any person, company (or other ‘entity’) making use of my photograph - i.e. I am claiming ‘copyright’.

Obviously by posting images here on the Naim Forum there is the implicit ‘acceptance’ of the various terms of the forum and associated underlying software services.

There is also something in US Law regarding ‘fair use’ provision of copyrighted material. The UK has something slightly different but the general outcome is the same.

My limited understanding of the legal aspects is that I cannot stop people, companies etc making use of the image(s). However should I become aware of (and concerned about) the way any of my images (posted on the forum) is being used by someone else - I believe the fact that I have added that particular phrase - gives me some protection should it be required.
