We used to stream from spotify to our 1st gen mu so and could use party mode to play on the base unit and the cube at the same time. We havent used it for a few months and cancelled spotify premium as it was expensive. I have access to amazon music so have tried that instead.
My question is how can i get the four boxes in corner of the screen to choose party mode. Does it not work with amazon music
Also a question about airplay. I have a samsung tablet with the naim app on so will airplay work on this android tablet
I suppose i just want to know another way of streaming music without using spotify
Airplay isn’t supported on Android devices, although there are some third party app that can do is. Possible try AirMusic.
Amazon app on Android supports chromecast.
What happens when you press the multi-room button on the Mu-So Qb unit?
I didnt know there was a multi room button. On the cube. i find the instruction booklet useless
I didnt know there was a multi room button on the cube
This is the multi-room icon on the remote. It’s the same icon on the device itself.
It depends slightly on how you connect. If using Chromecast, as suggested below by @wemorgan , Naim multi-room indeed won’t work. Chromecast has it’s own multi-room implementation (cast groups), and as I understand disallows others to use their own multi-room with it.
In Google Home, where you set up the cast functionality in the first place, you’ll find the option to create groups of Chromecast devices. You’ll then be able to cast to a group instead of an individual device from any app supporting Chromecast.
No Chromecast on 1st gen. Musos.
Thats not the remote i have. Ours is a first gen mu so. Are you talking about the newer one
