PMC Twenty5 23 unmatched speakers

Hi,

I have the chance to buy a pair of Twenty5 23 speakers but the numbers are non sequential.
Apart from the obvious veneer not matching on each speaker, are they matched in any other way perhaps sonically that I should be aware of?

I would give PMC a call with the serial numbers and see what they say…seem a helpful bunch when i have chatted to them.

I dont think so, one of my 20.23 bass/mid drivers was replaced recently as far as I know a non matched replacement was supplied to my dealer via pmc

Even if drivers are supplied in pairs with measurements matched, in practice in domestic installation I doubt if any difference would be audible.

The two sides of your room are likely to sound different anyway.
