Tried the Vidar a couple of years ago. It was OK - sounded like a $699 USD amp. The 28 blew it away.

+1 on the recommendation of Tyler, Next Level Audio. I bought my 252 and several cables from him (which was traded in from @Bart, who also deals with Tyler).
