Powering a CDS3

Can a CDS3 purchased out of the UK be powered by a USA market XPSDR?

Ok, thanks, may have found one…

A couple of things to consider here; firstly, make sure all the transit bolts - top and bottom - are correctly fitted and tightened. Tape the ends of the bottom bolts with electrical tape so they don’t loosen from vibration in transit. Even then, an old CD player will not travel so well, so there’s always a chance the laser mech may die en route so you could end up with a brick with no easy recourse. Oh yes, and as you’ll need to pay import duties and taxes on arrival, if it does turn out to be a brick it will just rub in the hurt!

Thanks so much Richard, all makes sense, as I weigh my upgrade from CD5

I will be posting later today the four units I am considering, all from the pre-loved market. I have done very well upgrading my Naim kit in such a manner with sellers with high feedback.
