Sanchez must go. Ffs.
Brentford playing some of the worst football seen in the EPL I reckon. The ball regularly leaving the earthās atmosphere. Andrews a strange appointment for such a well run, clever club?

Looks like Arsenal are not going to wait till near the end of the season before bottling the leagueā¦
Arsenal and their fans will feel good that they snatched a draw right at the death. But, the real beneficiary of this result is, of course, Liverpool. Very early in the season, but a lead of 5 points after only 5 games feels a lot.
Only 2 teams undefeated in the PL. No surprise that one of them is the leaders Liverpool. But what would have been the odds on the other one being Palace? Well done you Eagles.
Arsenal disappointing. Great goal for Martinelli, who is, by some margin, their weakest link. A better point for City. And an even better result for Liverpool
Weāll take that - ta very muchly!
For 2 teams hoping to unseat Liverpool thought they were both poor. Gooners bombed a team full of giants from the air (posh Brentford) and Pep defended like City were playing with 10 v 11. Liverpool will have a wry smile on their face tonight.
Arsenal are the new Stoke. Stoke2.
Iām surprised they havenāt persuaded Crouchie to come out of retirement and play for themā¦
And Liverpool go to Selhurst Park next weekend. That should be a cracker. But Iāve said that a few times recently, only to suffer through another exercise in tedium.
Hmm. Seems that, in 2025, Palace have won the same amount of games at the London Stadium as West Ham have⦠![]()
Poor Kev. Weāve all been there.
Worst thing to happen to a Potter in September since the Dementors attacked the Hogwartās Express
Arteta failed to learn from his mistakes up at Anfield and again fielded a midfield devoid of creativity the absence due to injury of Martin Odegaard has left a creative void in the centre of The Arsenal side that Arteta has attempted and failed to fill with Mikel Merino.
Arteta did at least attempt to rectify his mistake at half time replacing Merino with Eze in his favoured more central role rather than wide left and Saka who was less of an upgrade over the excellent Madueke, it certainly improved things to the extent that Pep Guardiola morphed into Jose Mourinho finishing the match with a backs to wall 10 man behind the ball low block that almost won him the game but in an almost mirror image of last years 2-2 at the Etihad Arsenal scored late on to earn themselves a point.
Ironically it was Martinelli the player many Arsenal supporters called to be dropped or even sold in the summer that again came off the bench to rescue his team with another excellent finish. It was the first time that any manager has gone 5 straight matches unbeaten against Guardiola and it was the lowest possession rate since his early days as Barcelona that any Guardiola team has registered. So Arteta is obviously doing lots of things right but he just needs to be braver especially at home.
On the subject of Gabriel Martinelli I believe it is his position within the Arsenal system that is as much to blame as anything else for his drop in form prior to his last two appearances. Arsenal are so predominantly a right sided team creatively with Odegaaard who almost never drifts left that our left side is somewhat forgotten.
And with our left sided full back always coming inside and getting far up the pitch to atttack it is Martinelli who is expected to get back and defend. When he had Granit Xhaka as a left sided 8 and Kieran Tierney over lapping from full back Martinelli had his best seasons. He does though have the great stat that Arsenal have never lost a match he has scored in well over 40 now I believe.
Madueke out!
So EkitikĆ© gets a self-inflicted red and canāt come to Selhurst Park this Saturday - genius!
If I was Arne Slot Iād having him cleaning the Anfield away changing rooms with his own toothbrushā¦
No Iāll keep him thanks and you can keep Jamie Gittens.
