Another excellent date from a couple of years before featuring some of the same players as The Cats.

Couple of Eric Dolphy reissues (green Prestige label)
& a Jazz Sampler ( Ace Records issue, with vintage-looking Prestige label)

You can’t really have a discussion about Prestige without Bluesville the Blues arm of the label. Who between 1959 and the early 90’s released some fine Blues music.

Sonny’s Story by Sonny Terry was number BV 1025 released in 1960.

‘The Cats’ is a fabulous album. Many of the New Jazz originals of this one were noisy so not easy to pick up a good original. Also UK released on Esquire - rare and expensive.
