Pro-ject RPM 5 - cartridge suggestions?

I’ve been gifted an RPM5, and it’s in great condition overall but the standard cartridge (an Orfoton 510 MKII) that came with it, isn’t.

I’ve looked at the usual suspects, (I’m mostly familiar with Ortofon MCs from previous ownership of Roksan and Linn decks), but this would have to be a MM at the moment as it’ll be connected directly to an SN3.

Any suggestions, please?

Budget is £300-400 approx.

@Charles64 morning, have a look at the Goldring e3 or e4, I used the e3 in my second system and really liked it.
Like the avatar, just about a mile from where I’m sitting👍

I like the Nagaoka MP200. It’s slightly over your budget though.
I am using one on a Vertere DG1 into the Nait50.

Ortofon 2M Bronze would come in slightly under budget, a 2M black slightly over. Shame you can’t trade in MM cartidges with Ortofon, but you may get something back for your 510 via a certain auction site

I like that too! A friend of mine has the 150 on his Technics deck.

Silly question, but I can’t see any captive nuts to affix it to my Carbon tonearm’s headshell. I’m sure I’d work it out, but I’m easily confused these days!

It is fixed via 2 bolts and what looks like nuts on the bottom. I had it installed by my local dealer and just collected it when it was ready.
