Problem loading download albums onto Uniti Core

Normally I have no problems, but today I purchased six albums by Miles Davis from Presto as downloads. I got all the downloads onto my computer with no issues. The next step is always to rename the cover art to “folder”, make sure it is no bigger than about 1400x1400 and then move the album folder to the appropriate artist folder (Miles Davis in this case) using a finder window on my Mac ,where I pull up the Core/Downloads. Everything went smoothly and I got one of the albums into the Miles Davis folder, but then for the others I find that the move from the Mac will start properly, and then halt with a cryptic message saying “The transfer was halted due to an unexpected error. Error 8062”. Very helpful! . I am pretty certain this is an error posted by the Core, but can find no information on the Naim website.

I have tried disconnecting everything and restarting, but the behavior persists. Everything else seems OK. I have ripped some discs the day before and installed them on the Core with no issues.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Might it be that the Core’s hard drive is full? If one transfer works, and you are doing the same as usual, the rest should work too. Hence the disk capacity thought.

This is the result of ‘features’ Apple added in recent MacOS releases .

Thanks Osiris and davidhendon. I tried out the process described on one of the albums and it is now playing fine. Thank very much!! Yet another bit of Core Lore! I can’t imagine how much time I would have spent trying to run this down on my own. This no doubt applies to all network servers, not specifically the Core. (Appreciate the suggestion HungryHalibut, but I knew my hard drive was nothing like full). The community here provides a real service.
