PSU for StageLine N

Hello,
I’m using a Thorens TD145 with TP16 arm and an A&R P77 into StageLine N into a Nait 5si. The combo is good and my long experience with Thorens TTs makes suggestions about other turntables redundant, so thanks anyway.

The StageLine is powered by a decent linear PSU (not from one of the usual suspects from UK or Middle East) and I find it nothing like how the usual comments depict it - it’s dynamic, has soundstage, sounds natural. But I am aware that many think it changes for the best with a ‘better’ PSU. So I am curious and interested about the personal experience of those who have tried with different Naim supplies.

Try a second hand HiCapDR. Probably the best VFM.

Hmm. I power mine with a HCdr. And while it is superb I can’t say I ever tried it off the powered Aux input on the amp.

The 5si doesn’t have AUX2 of course, so I can only use an external PSU.

A 2nd hand HCDR is a natural choice but not a cheap one, hence why I’m asking for personal experience. Thanks f_z.
