I have a tv with Roku playing through my SuperUniti connected via optical. I added a Directv Gemini streaming stick to my tv. The sound while using the Roku is perfect. When I switch input sources on the TV to the Gemini, all I get is static through the SuperUniti. Thoughts on why this is happening?
This sounds as though the digital signal the SU is receiving from the Gemini is a multichannel bitstream that it can’t decode. You should set it (&/or the TV) to output a 2 channel PCM signal (the SU uses 2 channel DACs).
