Here is my experience with the PSM156. I hope it will help those whose amplifier transformer is noisy.
My system, consisting of dCS Lina DAC+Clock+NAP250.2DR, is fully connected to a PSM156 (including the network switch). All power cables are Puritan Ultimate. In addition to the fact that the 250’s transformer has become completely silent and the system is now protected against lightning, the improvement in sound quality is very significant in many aspects (soundstage dimension, detail, instrument separation, musicality, dynamics, etc.). I never imagined the improvement could be so significant.
In terms of dynamics, the difference was striking when I replaced my Nordost Heimdall 2 with Puritan Ultimate Power Cords. Much more dynamics, life, and PRAT. And that’s not to mention the improvement in sound quality. The Puritans are much better than the Nordost Heimdall 2 on my system.
I’ve had the Puritan installed for several months now, and it’s here to stay ![]()
Have some of you tried this mains purifier on your electronics?

Hi. @Jessy
I installed a PSM156 and I have experienced the same findings as you.
My cables are Zensati Zoro though.
I was listening to Radio 2 the other day, via Bluetooth from my phone, and I could here the DJ clicking their PC mouse.
The travel reporter sound like they were in a cupboard.
There is no background noise now.
