Does anyone use Floor Covers?
I’m about to purchase 6M of Super Lumina speaker cable and need a Floor Cover. Never used one, or whats “good”. I’ve read reviews to avoid rubber ones as they can often stink, so go with PVC material.
Someone will tell you that you need to put your cable on top of little wooden blocks…which of course is what every recording studio and concert hall does with the cables for musicians…
That concept does seem odd maybe for a wooden floor to stop vibration but my current Nordost cable is sitting on carpet and the carpet is sitting on thick underlay.
Q: why is the cable being laid across the room in a way that necessitates a mole? Is it crossing a doorway or something?
