I recently subscribed to a one month free trial of Qobuz. Suffice to say that I will not be paying any money to Qobuz. I share your feedback and will not elaborate further but will show you how Presto deals with it
Firstly a search in EXPLORE
Choose the album
Scroll and choose track. Play. Also you can select any track for a playlist.Example you can place ten different quartet’s version of the Allegro con brio together for comparison. I do this every Sunday with the Bach cantatas for according to the Lutheran calendar. I tried it with Qobuz. Joke!
Quartet no6 is playing and that is visible on the bottom of the screen
Usually one can access the booklet but none is available here. There is however the reviews of this fabulous recording to read.
The last photo shows how I have this saved for offline listening. I love the Quartetto dearly and listen to them play Beethoven whilst ploughing my fields. This I do from my iPhone to a pair of B&W Px7 noise cancelling headphones.
When at home I use Presto through Audirvāna on a MacBook Air. 2 subscriptions sure, but worth every last penny. The Presto Streamer is very difficult and a waste of many hours. The streaming service and wow the new releases every Friday work seamlessly with Audirvāna. Plus the jazz and the understanding of classical music BWV or Hob. for instance. To me Presto feels like family. The others, corporate. Presto also pay the artists fairly. Cheese for artists and me, chalk for Qobuz and the rest.
