Qobuz AWOL from Focal/Naim app?

I’m trying to set up a connection to my Qobuz account in the Focal/Naim app, but can’t figure out how. The home screen of the app offers a choice of Favorites, iRadio, UPnP, USB, Spotify, Tidal and three digital inputs - no Qobuz. I believe that I have the latest version of the app (6.6.1) and recall that Qobuz was offered as a streaming service. Has my copy of the app gone wonky or does Naim no longer support connection to Qobuz?

Does your Naim device support qobuz? Eg original muso and qb do not.
Have you disabled the qobuz input option?

I have an NDS, which I believe offered Qobuz as an option. If I have disabled Qobuz as an input, it would have been inadvertently. I have gone through the Settings menu in detail and can’t see any place that would have a list of disabled input options. Do I need to reset the app to its defaults?

The nds doesn’t natively support qobuz, but there are workarounds eg bubbleupnp; you’ll find relevant threads in a search.

Bubble UPnP seems to be an Android app. I’m using an iPad, so I guess the iOS equivalent is MConnect?

My server is an Innuos Zen Mk III. I’ve been using the Innuos Sense app for UPnP for several years, which manages Qobuz; however, the latest updates can’t properly play a small minority of my local files (DSD and WAV files above 96 kHz). This is why I’m giving the Focal/Naim app another go.

I’m wondering is another solution is to bypass the streamer section of the NDS altogether and connect the digital out of the Zen to the NDS DAC. The problem there is connectors. The Zen offers only USB A for a digital out and there doesn’t seem to be an off-the-shelf connector that can bridge this to the BNC, RCA, or optical inputs on the NDS.

Using the Zen direct into the NDS DAC would work, but yes, you would need a USB to SPDIF converter. It’s a pity there’s no SPDIF out, like there is on the Zen Mini.

Bubble UPnP server doesn’t require Android. You can run it on a Mac or Windows computer on your network or, as I do, on a NAS. I’m not sure if you can run it on an Innuos device, though.
