I don’t seem to be able to master the art of quoting in a reply. What is the ‘block quote’ feature supposed to achieve?
Press and hold the section of text you want to quote. (That’s on iOS, there is presumably a comparable way on a computer.)
Drag the little blue things around to cover the text you want to quote, and hit the grey Quote button.
Loki, if you’re on a regular browser, the just highlight the text you ant to quote from an earlier reply. Then you’ll see a little 'Quote" drop down button appear next to the highlighted text. Click on the button and a reply dialog box appears with the quoted text. Then just type in your reply blow the quoted text. Hit Reply, and away you go…
Thank you both. Simple when you know how. What’s ‘block quote’ then?
