BBC and Guardian report that William Orbit died at home on July 23rd. Sad news. He worked with a range of musicians. Kraftwerk’s ‘Radioactivity’ remix is a favourite of mine.

What a shame. It’s an obvious choice but Ray of Light with Madonna was just brilliant ( as was the later stand alone single they did together - Beautiful Stranger)

I affectionately remember this one.
It was widely known Orbit originated from trendy hippy squats. This was a massive esoteric hit with the crusties.

Qobuz have a ‘Produced by William Orbit’ playlist which contains many popular tracks. But dig out Orbit and the three Strange Cargo albums for the deep stuff.
