It’s a great little layout, I remember you operating it at York Show this year, I had forgotten about his occupation.
It was good to see lots of youngsters at the show today and while I was there quite a few were impressed with how you operated your fiddle yard / sector plate.
Good to meet up again and to put a face to Rippers (Neil) God willing I will definitely be at Millicent Streets next outing.

While at the Bridlington show yesterday, I ended up buying this ‘ Small Layout Design Construction by James Hilton, I really have no excuse now for saying I don’t have the space for a layout.

Not into trains but I am following this thread.
I used to make scenery similar to this for the war hammer nerds back in the 80’s
If he used a small pin hole camera to film his lay out, I think it would be really hard to tell it’s a model,

Just enjoyed making the models look battle hardened,
And People used to pay me to do it was a crazy time,
Things slowed down, so just gave it up,

The class 47 looks pretty good too.
Radio 4 and 4 Extra are broadcasting some interesting railway related programmes at the moment as part of the Rail 200 shenanigans.

Not a publication I’ve bought in many a year. The OBA article might be of interest though. A friend of mine in the Hull group buys it so I might ask for a loan.
