Rare Bowie on BBC 4 tonight

Tonight BBC 4 is showing the 1974 Alan Yentob Bowie documentary ‘Cracked Actor’

This is a definite documentary and at the time was groundbreaking stuff.

In addition, following ‘Cracked Actor’ is the acclaimed 1982 Alan Clarke Brecht Bowie as Baal.

For Bowie fans this is a rare chance to see these BBC programmes.

ps. prefer Lambchop to the other version but still prefer Sisters original!

Nice one - the mark of a great song that it has been covered and reinterpreted by a number of artists.

Yes, been a while since this was shown so looking forward to it. Just been to watch the Ziggy Stardust movie at the cinema today. They’ve done a good job (as seen with the snippets in Moonage Daydream) of remastering both the footage and sound, looking forward to the Blu-ray for home viewing.
Cheers @AndyP
