Enjoying some Alton Ellis this afternoon…
This album features several of Alton’s all time best tunes (imo!) including Blackish White, Rhodesia and Sun of Man. The version of Sun of Man by Wild Bunch/Dobson’s Disciples (only found on the super rare Clintones and Wild Flower 7’s) is one of my favorite tracks from any genre. So subtle and raw!
