Registering for the extended warranty

So, I purchased a Nait 50 at the end of November and the leaflet inside the box reading ‘Peace of Mind Guaranteed’ clearly states that I have six months from the date of purchase to register my product for the extended parts and labour warranty. The leaflet also states that the extended parts element of the warranty is only offered to customers in the UK.

OK, OK, it took up to now to get my backside in gear to register, although within the timescale stated on the leaflet that came with the amplifier. However, the Naim site appears to state that it is invalid and elsewhere on the site states that the time allowable to register for the extended warranty is three months from the date of purchase. Has there been a change and is not my rights have been violated as the information provided with the device had the effect of my taking as long as I did?

My guess would be that a letter/email to Naim, together with proof of purchase, will sort things out & you will get the extended warranty period.

Just do it now & don’t leave it until May!

I would contact Naim customer service - So long as you are the first owner and have the dealer receipt as proof then I’m sure they’ll be able to sort it out for you.
