Tightened SL2 drive unit bolts with my torque wrench to 3.6kn last night. They were clearly somewhat over tightened before. A must do! Richard’s set up guide is spot on.
Sound is already filling and smoothing out nicely at a mere 100 hours run in time. The ND555/ 2 x 555PS really is top notch! SL2’s marvellous in my dedicated but smallish (15ft x 13ft) room.
Over the past three days I have compared switch arrangements. Designacable Belden CAT5e/ 6a to last EE8 then Chord Sig to ND555 always used.
Router - Cisco 2960 - EE8 - ND555
Router - EE8 - ND555
Router - EE8 - EE8 - ND555
The latter config was preferred .
I found Router - Bonn N8 - EE8 - NDS worked best…with BJC cat6a cables…(Bonn and EE basically the same switch, just wanted to check out both…)
