Ho paura che il nostro Franco Cerri non abbia mai goduto di grande notorietà’ fuori dall’Italia se non tra appassionati di Jazz e addetti ai lavori.
Una ragione in piu’ per ricordare un eccellente chitarrista e un gran signore; avrebbe meritato un successo planetario, l’ho ascoltato dal vivo un paio di volte e ti assicuro che la sua eleganza traspariva da ogni sua nota e parola.

I am afraid that our Franco Cerri has never enjoyed great notoriety outside of Italy except among jazz enthusiasts and professionals.
One more reason to remember an excellent guitarist and a great gentleman; he would have deserved a global success, I listened to him live a couple of times and I assure you that his elegance showed through every note and word of him
