Well that one was a bit of a surprise, terrible shame.
Seems to have been on the radio one way or another most of my life.

Yes, I was surprised too, and it’s very sad. I always remember her ebullience, and that funny hat. Her younger brother, Keith Chegwin, died very young too.

Sad part of my musical history.
Very sad indeed, one of the iconic radio voices over my life.
I remember her particularly on just before Peel -and the banter they would have.
