Yes, the ‘82’ world cup was my first World Cup I watch seriously as a kid and what a fantastic game that was, Italy v Brasil.

1982-1990 World Cups were a particular golden era. Rossi was great. Sad loss and far too young.

Me too '82 was the first World Cup I followed from start to finish with my Panini album and replicated matches on my Uncle’s Subbuteo. Paolo’s hands up in air celebration was brilliant.
