RIP Phil Campbell

Joining Lemmy in that ever growing rock band in the sky.

Rest easy Phil and thanks for making music fun.

I saw Motörhead a few times with the classic trio and again several times after Phil Campbell joined, every gig was great. Campbell and WĂŒrzel were worthy successors to Fast Eddie. As Lemmy often said said, they were Motörhead and they played rock and roll. I saw a double bill with Hawkwind some time in the mid-‘80s, maybe at Brixton Academy, probably the highest energy gig I ever saw.

RIP and thanks for the fun.

Yes Phil Campbell had just joined so on the Young Ones they were a 4 piece Lemmy, Filthy Phil, Phil Campbell and Wurzel.

Sucks, RIP

Rip Phil.
The first time I saw Motörhead live was in 1982 in Zagreb, Croatia. At that time the guitarist was Brian Robertson (former guitarist of Thin Lizzy).
