Roon and Unit Atom

Hi, I’m running Roon 1.8 on my laptop playing to my Uniti Atom. Can anyone tell me if Roon should be able to see (and play from) a USB stick plugged into the Atom in a similar way as it plays from my NAS?

Hi, no roon cannot access the usb stick, it’s not available across your network.

Of course you can plug the usb stick into a computer, then roon should be able to access it. Depends on your use case for the usb stick, as that will always work in the atom if your pc etc are switched off.
Most people will either use a nas with roon, or simply use the resident hard drives on the computer on which roon is running.
