Intel still make chips called pentium! Mine’s a Kaby lake so gen 7, current crop are comet so 10th gen.

Another point to remember with Roon is that if you subscribe to Qobuz and tidal, you can create playlists containing both.
For what it’s worth I use my mac as the Roon core and stream to my NDX2. I use an ipad as the controller. It all works very nicely.
