Russ Andrews speaker cables

Kimber has the inverse characteristics of inductance and capacitance compared with naca5 and is totally unsuitable for eg the olive and chrome bumper era components. It’s also not really recommended for classics.

So the reel of cable might be made by Vertere then?

Same supplier as Vertere use.

It remains a mystery. I have read that, even posted after, but i didn’t saw any strong confirmation for that.

Totally agree regarding ‘LCR’ measured much stuff. Older stuff far to hard and shrill except with the New Classic it’s different. With too many cables to mention up to £5k (to rich for me) to try, I keep coming back to the Kimber 12TC, surprised me too. But that’s HiFi
Have new ones to try soon so I’ll see. Never stops.

A few years ago somebody claimed Naim copied Verteres design feature of having different gauge conductors in the super lumina cable/interconnects.

I pointed out that some Kimber cable also has this design feature. (It’s clearly visible if you examine a piece of PBJ). So, Vertere probably copied Kimber.

Seems a pretty specialised process. It’s feasible Kimber, Verteres and Naim are using the same wire manufacturer.

Neotech, Audioquest, PS Audio and more use same design.

I have tried OePhi Transcendence, Oephi Ascendance,
Chord Shawline, Chord Epic X and Chord Epic XL in my system but in the end always preferred the NACA5 so there is something special about them IMO :innocent:

Which connectors do you use on them?

Previous generation Chord connectors. (The original that Instereo used with the NACA5)
