SBL restoration

Recently i spotted a set of pre cut foams for sale specific for the SBL cabinet. Since i’m about to get a pair, recently restored by LASA, we have always been aware of a wool waste filaments inside them. Is this a third party unofficial solution then ?
Also i remember a few post talking about “active leads” for active systems. Since i have active IBL now, with 2x Nap 200 and Snaic4 from Snaxo 242 to amps. are these correct, i already asked my dealer and LASA but they are not aware about active leads

When I asked about this lead,
@Richard.Dane told me it was an active lead

Don’t think your supposed to use snaics between crossover and amps,
InStability issues if I recall,
I’m sure some will tell me if I right or wrong,

Oh and the wool/fluff I found looked like it was from inside of a vacuum bag,

Correct, SNAIC4s are too capacitive, so you should use active leads which are DIN4-DIN4 versions of the NAP250 DIN4-XLR lead.

Thanks Richard,
i will report it to my dealer, they told me that in the past they always used regular Snaics

Many have used SNAICs from the SNAXO to the power amps without any realisation of potential instability issues. However, most report improved performance once they are replaced with the active leads.

Is there a specific part number for active leads?

Likely yes, but I don’t know what it is. Best to ask Naim or your dealer.
