Show us your ink

If you are referring to the thread that I started, I am happy for @Richard.Dane to reopen it.

I was, @catswhiskers. I’d forgotten that it had already been reopened once, which I posted in. A lovely thread but I think of limited interest here (fountain pens don’t appear to have the same widespread cachet as watches or whisky, sadly).

It was a nice thread though - thanks!

Just ask if you want it re-opened.

I paid a lot for that artistic ink. Made by a great tattoo artist in Paris.

I detect yet another example of your wonderful sense of humour FR!

I saw this amazing artist’s in a magazine once who’s work tied in with my family’s heritage (Danish). It took about 20 years before I was able to visit Erik Raime in Copenhagen, and he created this for me in the brief time I had in the city. Drawn directly on to the skin on the day just for me, utterly unique.
Erik retired a few months later.
I still love it and would do it again in a heartbeat.

That is very nicely done.

Looks more like that from Lascaux. Are you over 15,000 years old?

If you speak French, you should watch the Francois Damiens, tatoueur, sketch on YouTube.
It’s very very funny.
