Seems we’ve been adopted and we have a holiday pet.
Sorry for your loss David, as others have said Freddie looked a great cat, best wishes.
Very sorry to hear.
But what you did was the ultimate kindness for him. RIP
I think your caption should have been,
“Three contented kitties, and……some other less important stuff.”
This is our lovely dog, half poodle half springador. She usually is a raggamuffin (bottom picture) but has just been groomed.
She suffers my guitar playing (half a world away) with grace whilst the rest of the family make themselves scarce.
Not strictly correct for this thread as stolen from the internet. But it did make me laugh and the cat looks like our Rico.
My first view of the lower picture had me thinking she was a rug !
Very Sorry to hear this Davide, but of It’ s any consolation to you, in 2011 our black european, the Bollino’s ancestor, passed away at only seven Yo for renal disease After one year + of therapies
It’s always worse when they die young. We had another Maine Coon, half brother to Freddie and born at almost the same time, who caught a virulent pneumonia and died only two days later aged 6, despite the very expensive specialist hospital doing their best.
Indeed! I hope your next one will have a long and happy life
We have two more Maine Coons currently. They are three years old, siblings. We will probably buy another two kittens if something happens to one of them…
I might suggest that you should “get the kittens in early” in order to allow them to learn (from their elders, naturally) how best to manage their staff!
…after all, we all need a bit of chaos in our lives…… as daughter #1 and partner are discovering!
Javert on the left, Valjean on the right (I think)
I imagine there are some who think this thread is a bit of a cop out. It’s not like you need to go fetch a camera as most of us have a phone (with camera) to hand that’ll do the focus, exposure and possibly even some colour enhancement. Then all you need is a dog, or a cat, or both, and to wait, patiently, for them to stop moving. Then click and you have it. Here’s a perfect example.
However in capturing this idyllic vignette what you shouldn’t overlook is the number of times I had to throw that bloody carrot!
Willy.
Two Heroes together….
Sorry to hear of your loss. It is always sad.
