Thank you all for your kind comments, certainly a strange void, keep expecting him to pop out of one of his favourite hiding spots.
Sorry, only just saw this. Very sorry to hear your sad news. The pain now is a parallel measure of the love. The good memories take over soon enough.
Sorry to hear this, they mean so much to us, as we do to them.
Sorry to hear that, poor fella
Sad news. What a character - we’ll miss the pictures.
Sorry to hear that.
Ha Gazza I’m so sorry.
So sorry to hear this Gazza, there has been so much heartbreak with folk here of late losing a beloved pet, you are in a good place for empathy.
I have fond memories of my father who adopted a lop ear rabbit that had a hard time, very timid and depressed bun soon became very happy and would run around my father’s feet and follow him everywhere. Wonderful peaceful critters rabbits.
I love a rescue dog. ![]()
She was in a right state when we got her. Flea-bitten, emaciated, preggers, the lot! (6 years ago).
Now she’s in fine form and a wonderful addition to the family.
And they seem to appreciate you more, being part of the family is certainly a plus.
I second that! This beautiful and lovely cat walked into our house one Sunday afternoon circa 12 years ago (after an unknown neighbour moved and left her behind) and never left. Hands down, the best friend I have ever had ![]()
So sorry for your loss, @Gazza. Always such a terrible burden to bear when we lose a beloved companion. My thoughts are with you.
Met Marlon today, his a beautiful dog but I’m still not sure. His owner is bringing him up to our place this Sunday and we’ll see how that works out.
Australian Cattle Dog ?
Yes, not sure if he’s a pure breed though

What matters is his temperament and he looks a very friendly and happy dog
Best wishes and hope all goes well
