Or maybe both !
Just think the owner wants to stay in control.
Thats a shame, doesn’t sound fair on the dog or you.

Rather odd , doesn’t send a good message , probably have to resolve that one from the start
Sues going to speak to him tomorrow. It should be ok, my main concern is the dog has a stable transfer.

I think you’re right to have hesitations…
As Gazza says, it’s not really fair all round and especially on the dog…and after all, if you’re really looking to form a special bond with a new mate, you are potentially going to be feeling intruded upon……
As tempting as it may all be already, I wonder if this is all the right scenario for you, hard as it may be to leave it….?
Hope something can be worked out that you’ll be happier with Pete….

He looks like a lovely dog though. My uncle adopted a rescue dog from Corfu a few weeks ago. His wife died of cancer a few years ago and they used to love going on holiday there. We got together to celebrate her birthday on Saturday and the dog was lovely. It had such a lovely temperament and my uncle and her are already inseparable. A nice story in these trying times.

Went looking for Mrs Willy in her workshop yesterday and spotted Yamato peering in through the back door. Thought that’d make a nice photo. Intermediate glass is always recommended when photographing geese closeup. Whipped out my phone and started to take several photos so I could pick the best one.
