He is actually a she & no, the neighbors had a stray that would come around & they started leaving food out, she had kittens, so we adopted one. She is a good size though, ~14lbs & was the only long haired one of the litter.

The PPs were romping around playing the feline version of hide and seek, which includes a wrestle as part of the tag. One of them ran past me and hid, neglecting to remember that the tail can be seen by a the other soon to be chasing PP, a bit of a rookie mistake I feel.

Passed away at the vets today.
She came home dragging her rear legs and vomiting, so emergency dash to the vets.
She died on the table just as the vet started to examine her, nothing anyone could do unfortunately.
She had every sign of being a strong healthy cat so i thought she’d been hit by a car; but later the vet phoned to say the autopsy shows no broken bones or internal damage however the chest scan suggests heart/lung disease, so probably natural causes.
Very saddened with her loss, she was such a happy friendly loveable cat, and will be very sorely missed.
