I used to have a cat that would sit on the LP12 lid and watch the record go round. A sound org table was easy for him to jump on. The PPs used to climb up the back of it to get there, dislodging a cable now and again. Fortunately, as they got older and were allowed out, they lost the desire to look out of this window.
Do you mean to say it’s your neighbours cat?
…that photo looks a bit photoshopped to me ![]()
Photoshop ? I can’t believe someone let do that. Or maybe someone for whom buying a 3 k or more cartridge is like buying a French baguette for us.
Walther looks like he thinks you’re making a foto for his profile on the dog dating app ‘WOOfer’.
Someone playing year of the cat.
He’s missing you…

You can call me Al. ![]()
The cats are probably thinking " I don’t mind if I do, ice and a slice please. Oh, and a bag of pork scratchings’
Don’t play poker with him, you will loose. Other will look at his face reactions.
Really!
After the hour’s drive home from the urology ward yesterday I wasted no time in getting to the loo. That’s the perspective for this photo.
Zhukov wasted no time in bringing me a flick and a ball. @paulbysea you did ask ![]()
Willy.
Bless, he missed you😉
Speedy recovery Willy
Lovely to see that he is welcoming you back home. An occupational therapist friend, would be impressed that he is insisting you start your rehabilitation immediately.
Back in the days when the turntable was Louis’s very favorite sleeping spot, I put the LP12 away and replaced it with a Rega. Meanwhile, he occasionally takes a seat on the LP12, so I have several new dust covers in the cupboard. In any case, it’s important to stay calm so that he leaves the turntable without a fuss. (The pictures are old, possibly already posted here.)
A true animal lover. A long time ago, a friend had a Voyd turntable where the parakeet (or whatever bird it was) was allowed to sit on the tonearm. You can imagine what it looked like underneath; at least he placed a protective sheet under the tonearm.
