Glad our british short hair has abstained so far……..but my choice if sofa’s is much reduced.

Brilliant, she’s under there and I would guess that’s her nose poking out at the bottom of the cover, she’s really settled in

She was relaxing after being out in the garden for a few hours. Despite being warm she still loves being under blankets.

Farewell darling Twig. Stoic until the end that sadly came this morning. Twig loved everyone and by the time he came home with us from Battersea 13 years ago he had honed his ability to charm and delight all those he met. Am feeling pretty gutted right now despite having tried to come to terms with the inevitable over the past few weeks.
Time now to dig a hole as deep as I can on the edge of the plantation in the 60 acre field, right next to Luna, so his body can lie with hers and they can chase about together once more…

The one consolation is that we gave them the best of our love and hopefully they enjoyed their lives with us.

So sorry to hear of your loss Richard, it never gets any easier does it. Even when we knew our old boy had very limited time, we were never quite prepared. 13 years is a long time and they really do get under your skin don’t they.

Oh my goodness Richard I am so sorry for your loss so soon after that of Luna, laying them side by side at the bottom of your field where they can chase about together once more is a lovely thought. Take care.

Sorry for your loss. They find a way to get into our hearts in a way that people often can’t. Total loyalty and trust even after a sometimes previous difficult life.
