334578: nice lp12, man!
Lovely!
Novel way to store LPs and CDs…eeek, Dusty In Memphis…on the wall?!
Easy to get to when I need to play them
@Linton
I see you have the same stylus tracking weight wotsit as me. They’re neat little things aren’t they?
I’m still waiting for my Isoblue TT shelf, as my wife won’t countenance a metal one after I took down the Sound Org one. Yours looks great tho…if only she’d think so…
I’m lucky to have a little music room so no problem there.
Yes. Sometimes I think my shed might be the solution, but getting a bed in there along with the hifi…tricky.
Hello Linton,
I have the same wall shelf for the CDS.
But I use it without spikes.
The glass plate is simply fixed with blutak.
Did you try those simpler installation?
Daniel
I used the spikes to level it, should not move…hopefully
Linton, there are obviously much bigger systems out there , but your little music room is one of my absolute favourites .
A clear “less is more”
A Sondek is for life, not just Christmas
Apologies for the poorly lit photos. Truth be told there is nothing new to see. Opportunity presented itself and I managed to pay the chaps at Cymbiosis a visit today, during which Peter swapped over the new linn bearing. All social distancing measures in place and duly observed. LP’s sounding tip top.
Peter
PS Glass shelf will be realigned when records packed away. Oops!
Peter
had my karsouel in for just over a week now, also @Cymbiosis fitted Radikal and Urika which has taken the deck to new musical heights - Karsouel is superb the radikal/Urika is staggering!
Particularly content as this time I checked the stylus weight before playing when I got mine home - last time I forgot about this rather important detail! I just had the bearing swapped over as there was a chunk of upgrades late last year and nothing further to fettle just now.
Peter
Just had the Peter Swain treatment at Cymbiosis for the first time.
Ekos SE/1, Kandid and Karousel fitted, full strip down and rebuild.
The knowledge, skills, attention to detail and extremely high standards are truly outstanding!
Nice Tangerine/Tiger Paw LP12. Does anyone know what happened to Roger Hamilton and TP?
I am afraid no, I think even Peter Swain has no further info on his whereabouts
