Right! There are a dozen or so Tangerine stockists in the UK . Some good ones. Where would you go to have a dem?

I would probably go up to Cymbiosis and take deck there and spend a few days up there with view to getting it all done and table serviced at same time.

Peter does my deck so I reckon you’re in the best hands.
IMHO. :+1:t2:

Look! What I have is amazing. But if I can get more out of it then why not?

It is really good as it is. Maybe I am being greedy?

Greedy? With your C battle? I think not mate! The valué of hifi upgrades are relative and subjective aren’t they? I paíd £48k for my S1 and I feel that it’s one of the best valué products that I’ve bought. Only you can decide whether a Stiletto / Scorpion is worth £7k

Thanks Rob,

I will see how I get on. Need to get chemo underway first off. Once set I will begin my travels. Life is too short and I may well get the upgrade done.

With Ekos SE/1 be interesting to compare our two if I get it done.

You know me by now, if I make the trip, I will get it done.

Will complete an already amazing turntable!

Listening to more vinyl and am ponderimg the stiletto skorpion upgrades. ACDC Back In Black to think things through.

The stealth look is very me! I am liking the idea!

I get a feeling you might prefer the Ekos over ARO with it”s more fireworks like presentation. The Tangerine upgrade really did work well with the Ekos. Cleaner and more open has to be better right?

It looks like Soundcraft Kent could be better for me and do home installation.

I like the Ekos SE/1.

I haven’t heard anything about them regarding LP12 set up. As for good ones in the south I’ve heard great things about Colin Macey at What You See and Hear but he doesn’t stock Tangerine. Set up shouldn’t be rocket science but as you know with what we do for a living it doesn’t always follow.

See what they can do. LP12 sounds amazing as it is. I reckon those upgrades will take it alot further! So Skorpion works with Urika 1 now?

For sure :+1:

I believe Cymbiosis have said that fitting Urika to Stiletto/ Skorpion is not a problem, but I don’t know which version of Urika that was.

And things haven’t changed that much since then.:rofl:

Yes. My Urika 1 was taken off the Trampolin and installed on the Skorpion. Peter showed me how this was done a while back.

Joined the Stiletto club today (inc Skorpion base). The Rega Naia, for all its great qualities, doesn’t excite like this bit of kit IMHO.

Even with a stone cold S/CapDR and SL, the difference was very noticeable. More separation, more detailing, much quieter, and it rocks like a Linn (with a Dyn TKR in it).

Also got a cloche to cover it – only £81 - bargain.

@Arthur-Lee – I’ve also been left a Revolver to listen to – will report i.d.c.

Bet it sounds wonderful. Getting tempted!
