Ok. I was wondering whether I should try my hypsos on the switches.
But these little Mr Nixie powersupplies in combination with additional supercap filter modules worked wonders in my setup for switches, router and roon server.

I see no reason not to try these things. As with all things ‘streaming’ you never really know what the outcome will be? I found that moving the LPS (I sometimes use on my EE8 switch) as far away from the rest of the system as possible makes quite a difference. I’ve no idea what could be effecting it but something is!
I’ve not heard of Mr Nixie before. I’m guessing it’s not a UK thing?
It is a very small German company.

Not sure if it is allow to link here
In your case it’s not. Commercial link is not allowed.
No unauthorised commercial links here please. Thanks.
Apologies
Can you explain how these DIY upgrades work / how to install it? Are they attached externally?
The supercap filter modules have input and output DC jacks. They just get plugged into DC cables.
You can also daisy chain two. See pics. Then you need shrink foil to protect the circuit board. In the picture, i used black shrink foil.
The LHY module for Lumin is a bit more tricky. Ot has a dc jack input but on the output you have to remove the Lumin cable and solder a DC jack or directly into the device. And the lumin module is for 12v input and output only. I use two of them for my switches, which both work on 12v.
kWhat does the SCPS do? It looks like it’s powering a Cisco switch. Is this different to the linked filter modules? Just trying to understand what they do and what they supply. Cheers.
To use a DC SpSC on the Cisco, you remove the inbuilt AC powersupply (see pic). Very easy to do.
Where the 12 V DC cables of the inbuilt powersupply go in the Cisco, you solder a DC cable with a 2.5mm DC jack. This way you can use any 12V DC supply on the Cisco.
The filter modules can go in-between the DC powersupply and the new DC jack in the Cisco.
If your Farad has 12v output, using it for the Cisco will likely have a very good effect
I actually have 4 SCPS. One for the Cisco, one for the Roon Server, one for the Buffalo switch and one for router
I can’t figure out what that Mr. Nixxie ps costs on their website. The product is not clickable and doesn’t show price info.
Yes the website is a bit difficult to navigate. May be just email to the guy. He is very responsive. It costs around 500 €.
Hi all, I just received Gamma cable to demo in my system, but have rookie question. I have Amazon eero connected to my virgin router via normal ethernet cable and then from the eero to streamer via gamma network cable. Am I benefiting from using gamma cable in this setup? Or it should be connected directly to Virgin router? Due to space in my room it’s not possible to connect gamma directly to the router. Thanks
Hello Piotrek, here a second Piotrek.
Super

Ja także, Piotrek
The better (lower noise) cable will have more chance to do more good the further downstream it is. So if your chain is router > Eero > streamer then you definitely want it from Eero to streamer if you want to see what it can do.
