I’m finding it hard to get advice about sideloading an app from Google Play onto a Chromecast dongle on a non-Android (LG) TV.
Anybody?
You have to enable Developer Tools.
If you do a spoken voice search from the main home screen for “Tools” the results should show Deceloper Tools, install this Google Tool and then proceed to sideload the required APK.
The easiest option being using ADB, you’ll need the Google Studio tools package to enable this.
The alternative is a package manager app from the Play Store.
