A few months ago my 3 year old SN3 had a new mute relay fitted after the left channel failed.
The right channel has now failed with the same symptoms.
My question is would the repair not have replaced the mute relay for both channels?

@philiphaines Good question. Who did the repair? It might not be covered if the relays are separate? Do you have a Naim dealer?
My excellent dealer, Winchester HiFi, sent it back to Naim and it was replaced under warranty, which it still is.
Have others experienced a double failure in a short space of time - 5 months?
That’s terribly unfortunate. I’d get it back to Naim via Andy asap. Hopefully you can be loaned a replacement.
That’s what I’m doing, paperwork being submitted to Naim as we speak. Bad timing so it will doubtless be out of action for some time.
Just seems odd to me, given the well publicised issue, I might have thought both channel relays would have been replaced when it was repaired. And maybe they have been and I’m just unlucky.
Seems a case of particularly bad luck to me. AFAIK if a relay is working ok then it won’t be replaced - no need as generally they should last for years unless they unfortunately stick. They are either working ok or not. Best chat with with your dealer and hopefully they can get it sorted out for you.
My dealer did a relay repair on my Nait XS2 themselves I think. In any case, turnaround was swift.
Out of warranty I have gone to Class A in the past as they tick lots of boxes, authorised, very good imo, incredibly customer focussed, and it takes the heat off Naim.
In warranty it would always be Naim, but the lead times have been growing, which is what led me to Class A originally.
