Spotify Connect recent odd behaviour

A couple of months ago Spotify Connect suddenly started acting funny. This happens on both my Uniti Atom and Mu-so Qb 2nd Gen, making me think this might be a firmware issue. Has anyone else had the below problem?

Problematic behaviour:

  • Songs often skip, both when playing a playlist or a queue
  • Sometimes a song ends but the next track does not start so nothing plays, then randomly ~10-15 minutes later it will start playing a song further down the queue
  • There is a significant delay for the album art to update (on the Uniti Atom)

Spotify is behaving as normal when playing on my phone and also works fine when using Spotify Connect on a Sonos speaker on the same wifi network as my Naim devices.

I tried removing the Naim devices from my Spotify account and adding them back, as well as reinstalling the Spotify app on my phone. Has anyone else experienced this?
