Spotify connect

Hi just did firmware update 3.10.0 on atom and uniti star.

When using Spotify Connect now no sound but appears to be playing album. Airplay ok.

Spotify Connect on Muso 2 working fine.

Has anyone else encountered this post latest firmware upgrade ?

Aragon. I just updated to the same on my nd5xs2. I don’t normally use Spotify on it (just for my muso 1st gen). I normally use Qobuz. I have however, just tested Spotify on it and all appears to be working.
Have you contacted your dealer / Naim customer service? They should be able to resolve your issue

I have a unity star and a unity nova , both firmware upgraded yesterday and now dont play spotify.
radio works and server works but spotify just jumps tracks to the end of the album then stops.

as a very naim setup I also have a mu so that didn’t receive the update and this works fine
any ideas what to do

I seem to recall I had a similar issue a while back and it was quite frustrating. Solving it involved re-booting my router, logging out of Spotify/deleting the Spotify app and then re-installing it and even re-naming the device in the Naim app. It was a bit of a PITA but it can be done.

I am sure the issue is with the firmware update itself.

Naim Muso Qb2 works fine with Spotify connect and I have not upgraded the firmware on it.

Have tried all the usual steps on the atom and uniti star - hard restart, reloading the Spotify app etc but no luck to date - now can only use AirPlay to connect to Spotify which is less than ideal.

I had exactly this issue. I found the spotify connect worked again after power cycle (full unplug from power, and startup)
