Hello everyone,

I’ve been using an NDX for about 15 years now.
Both Tidal and Spotify work fine.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to use Spotify in lossless quality?
Also, I can’t see the streaming quality displayed on either the unit’s screen or the iPhone app.

NDX is a gen 1 streamer so Spotify lossless is not supported. You’ll need to add an external streamer via digital input or change the NDX. I use a Primare Prisma NP5 into my NDS but there are many others you could try. Also, Naim are offering an exchange program to help upgrade to a new streamer.

I’ll stick with Tidal, and use Spotify just for background music.

The Primare Prisma NP5 is rather good. Fairly cheap secondhand. You might be surprised!

Yes. It’s excellent on my nDac. However, it doesn’t do spotify lossless yet.

I got 3 months free trial of spotify. Can’t stream lossless yet, but I’m surprised how good 320kbps spotify sounds. Not as good as Qobuz hires, obviously, but I can listen to an album without getting the urge to switch it off.
