Stageline used in second system

Had a question on the use of a Stageline (second version) in a separate system. The first system would have a Naim pre amp capable of powering the Stageline through the Aux port.

On the Stageline can the 4 pin port (on the left in the picture) be used din to rca to another systems line input?

If so I imagine the Aux input on the Naim pre would have to be activated?

Do you intend to power it from one system’s pre to play back through another amp? That won’t do the Naim grounding scheme much good I suspect and unless you have a Snaic with the signal connections interrupted the stageline will be trying to feed two input loads. You’d do better to get it its own ps such as an i-supply or one of the CAP power supplies. The signal can be taken from the DIN4 if the former.

Thanks for your response. Yes, the idea was to play back through another amp. I was thinking as you say that the Stageline might try to feed two input loads. I’ll be looking at the i-supply for an inexpensive option.

Simple answer, I believe, is yes. Now, will your SC-powered 282 sound better, worse, or the same as a FlatCap, Hi-Cap or iSupply power supply with a potential grounding issue. Why don’t you try before throwing money at it?

Thanks for this. I think a tape out from the Naim pre amp would would retain decent quality for minimal expenditure.
