Static when using as a soundbar with Netflix

I have been using my MuSo 2nd generation as a sound bar but some films on Netflix just produce a static sound with no audio at all. It isn’t every film and it’s not the Netflix output because if I turn my MuSo off the sound is fine through the TV speakers. Has any one else experienced this and do you know a solution? Are there settings in Netflix?

The DAC in the mu-so is 2 channel only, so you need to set the tv to output 2channel pcm rather than multichannel bitstream. The static noise is where a program is broadcast in multichannel bitstream and the DAC can’t decode it.
